Artez

Belgrade based street artist "Artez" is one of the leading Serbian artists of the third generation that emerged on the local graffiti scene. He is best known for mixing photo-realism and illustration with an amazing ability to incorporate vibrant colors in his murals. His constant craving for travelling and having the world as his inspiration has affected his rapid progress and influenced his style. His murals are rapidly spreading around the globe and especially in Asia, where he has worked extensively.

Artez painted two murals on the terrace which gives a panoramic view of all of Colaba. The first mural achieved its final look by using elements already present on the terrace - the mural of a boy reading a book is completed with the addition of a variety of plants and flowers blooming on the terrace. Artez created this work in response to the owners’ passion for culture and nature, and their belief that the two are ever-growing if taken care of and loved.
