Tellas

Tellas grew up in Italy’s Sardinian harsh lands. He is a visual artist who dabbles with non-urban aesthetics. His works are an organic, personal and intimate vision of natural landscapes. Through a meditative process, this vision appears within almost abstract compositions, coupled with his sensitive eye for soft color palettes and gradients. His body of work can be seen on a wide variety of mediums, from large size walls to posters, from canvases to site specific installations.

The artist has participated in several international festivals such as Artmosphere 2012, ALTrove, Street Art Agliana and collaborated with many contemporary artists and galleries in Europe.

Lodhi Art District

NEW DELHI, 2019

Mirroring the contrasting urban landscape of Delhi, where noise and quietness can be obtained at once, Tellas painted tree branches - seemingly dancing in the moment of natural gusts of wind - in the color of terracotta, which in Italian means ‘baked earth’.

F(r)iction at Kona

NEW DELHI, 2019

Tellas’ ‘spontaneous garden’ shaped as a tunnel at St+art’s urban art exhibition, immersed the public into an organic composition of natural elements. Enlarged and manipulated, these shapes aimed to take a person into the city - a cacophony of aromas, colors, noise and urban artifacts, which never fail to captivate and/or surprise
