Western Union

In September 2017, XXL Collective worked closely with Western Union as a part of their Initiative ‘The chain of betters’. The project required us make a difference for within the city through art. This project was conceptualised to mark the celebrated festival of lights, Diwali.

We collaborated with the artists Hanif Kureshi, Do&Khatra and Avi to create 3 large murals and several smaller stencils disseminated in different parts of the city of Delhi.

The artworks while celebrating the festival of Diwali, brought the joy people experience inside their homes to the streets, embedding it into the larger scape of the city itself. The murals were located in a MCD School in Jasola Village and Hauz Khas Village. The result of the project was a energetic ad created by the video production House Deja Vu.
