F9 Test Kitchen

XXL Collective collaborated with the F9 Test Kitchen in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad to create an artwork which would be inspired by the space.

The interior of the restaurant was done in the bauhaus style of architecture, complete with industrial signage and rough boulders. Artist, Khatra, Siddharth Gohil’s multihued piece created a break in the minimalistic black and white look and feel of the restaurant and also enhanced the edginess of the space.

Facing the test kitchen, Gohil’s piece featured a chef hanging from a heart - additionally acknowledging the act of making food as an art form.
