Feroz Shah Kotla

In 2016, XXL Collective conceptualised and produced a string of art works at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium - one of the biggest sport venues of New Delhi. The project was commissioned by the Delhi and District Cricket Association in New Delhi and entailed murals of iconic cricket personalities being painted on the walls surrounding the stadium.

Abstract, vibrant and sharp lines came together to form portraits of celebrated cricket personalities on the boundary walls of the stadium. Additionally, indigenous forms of miniature paintings were utilised to further one of the most recognized forms of traditional Indian art.
